Although he was only supposed to appear in 14 episodes, he ended up continuing to play Tommy in subsequent seasons of the Power Rangers, including Power Rangers Zeo, Turbo (Red), and Dino Thunder (Black), in addition to cameos in anniversary specials. Additionally, he provided advice on the 2018 graphic novel Soul of the Dragon by Kyle Higgins and Giuseppe Cafaro.

Frank revealed a Kickstarter campaign for his short film, Legend of the White Dragon, in 2020. It later developed into a full-length movie with a cast that includes former Power Rangers Jason Faunt (Time Force), Ciara Hanna (Megaforce), Mark Dacascos, and Jenna, the daughter of Frank. His final role will be in the movie, which is scheduled for release in 2023.
