Husband Of Teacher Killed DIES OF HEART ATTACK FROM GRIEF: In what was already a nightmarish scenario for the family of a teacher who was slain in the elementary school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, the woman’s husband is now allegedly dead as a result of a heart attack. This has added another layer of sadness to the situation.
Irma Garcia was one of two teachers who were killed in the mass shooting that took place on Tuesday. Her family has just revealed that Joe Garcia, her husband of 24 years, has also passed away.
A post was made on social media by Garcia’s nephew, John Martinez, who said, “It is EXTREMELY heartbreaking and come with deep sorrow to say that my Tia Irma’s husband Joe Garcia has passed away due to grief, I truly am at a loss for words for how we are all feeling, PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR FAMILY, God have mercy on us, this isn’t easy.” Garcia passed away as a result of his grief.
Ernie Zuniga, a local reporter, claims that Garcia passed away due to a heart attack… and that the couple shared custody of four children together. A GoFundMe account has been established in order to lend assistance to the family.
It was alleged that Irma had passed away while attempting to shield the students who were present in her classroom. An 18-year-old armed with an AR-15 that he lawfully obtained in the state of Texas carried out the mass shooting that resulted in the deaths of 19 children and 2 teachers. As we previously reported, the shooter was armed with a weapon.
Beto O’Rourke, who had previously served as a senator in Texas, faced the state’s current governor, Greg Abbott, during a press conference on Wednesday. O’Rourke pushed Abbott, who has historically been a strong supporter of the Second Amendment, to really take some action on the issue.
