iPhone 14 battery capacities revealed before launch, MacRumors has got this information from a Chinese regulatory database, despite the fact that Apple does not publicize the battery capacities of its new iPhone 14 series.

The batteries in three of the four iPhone 14 models are larger than those in the iPhone 13 series, but the battery in the iPhone 14 Pro Max is smaller than the battery in the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

iPhone 13 battery capacities are as follows:

  • Battery life for the 13-inch iPhone mini: 2,406 mAh
  • The iPhone 13 has a 3,227 mAh battery.
  • 3.095 volts and 3,095 mAh for the iPhone 13 Pro
  • The maximum capacity of the iPhone XS Max 13 is 4,352 mAh.

Cellular phone battery sizes for the iPhone 14 series:

  • 14-inch iPhone, 3,279 mAh
  • The battery life of the iPhone 14 Plus is 4,325 mAh.
  • 3,200 mAh for the iPhone 14 Pro
  • The total battery capacity of the iPhone 14 Pro is 4,323 mAh.

All four iPhone 13 models’ battery capacity was precisely reported by the same database prior to their launches last year, as were those of the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro. Additionally, in June, the precise battery capacity of all iPhone 14 variants was revealed in a post on the Chinese website Weibo that was reported by the Twitter account ShrimpApplePro.

Apple claims “all-day battery life” in all four iPhone 14 versions. Apple’s technical specifications page claims that the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max have up to an hour better battery life for offline video playback compared to the similar iPhone 13 models, but it does not include a direct competitor for the iPhone 14 Plus.

Apple claims that the iPhone 14 Plus’s battery life is the longest of any iPhone due to the larger 6.7-inch display size and the absence of several Pro model capabilities. The ProMotion display’s ability to throttle refresh rate for reduced power consumption suggests that the iPhone 14 Pro Max really has the longest battery life for video playback, so this isn’t totally accurate.

Apple revealed all four iPhone 14 versions this week, and they’ve been up for pre-order since September 9. Except for the iPhone 14 Plus, which will be released on October 7, the products are scheduled for release on September 16.
