The Mysterious Disappearance Of Karlie Guse

Karlie Guse, a teenager from California, has been missing since the early morning of October 13, 2018, from Mono County, and it has been more than 2 years since her disappearance at this point, and according to the authorities, they are no closer to locating her at this point.

During a news conference, the Mono County Sheriff’s Office announced that they will continue their investigation into Karlie Guse’s disappearance until they have any new information. However, they have not found any viable leads or indications that point them in the direction of her location.

The investigation into the case of the missing person continues, according to Mono County Sheriff Ingrid Braud, but investigators are “examining every possibility” in the case.

Braun stated that there has been no progress made in the search for Karlie. Melissa revealed to me that she had picked up Karlie Guse at approximately 8 o’clock in the evening and then driven her to her home close to White Mountain Estate Road in Chalfant. Chalfant is located approximately 14 miles north of Bishop.

According to Guse’s stepmother, she was visibly distressed on the way to the house, admitting that she was afraid that the car was going to hit her, and switched seats multiple times while they were traveling there.

Guse’s father, Zac, and stepmother recollected in a testimony that once she went home, her pupils were quite dilated, and she also associated the lettuce that was in her salad with the “devil’s lettuce.” This was something that she remembered.

Because Melissa was feeling better, she was able to provide Karlie Guse with some solace, and she even spent the night in Karlie’s room to ensure that she continued to be okay.

It was said that Melissa woke up at approximately 5:30 a.m. the following morning, and when she looked over at Karlie Guse, she saw that she was awake and laying next to Melissa. Melissa stated that she fell asleep for a short period of time after that, and when she awoke between 7:15 and 7:30 in the morning, she found out that Karlie was missing.

Karlie should have been evaluated by a skilled medical practitioner, and a law enforcement agency should have taken a more proactive approach.

Fairley continued by stating that she had “every right” to question the acts of Zachary and Melissa because their “behavior certainly makes me question what transpired that night.” Zachary and Melissa were the ones who were accused of the crime.

A prior appearance by Fairley on “Dr. Phil” served the purpose of bringing attention to the passing of her daughter. According to her account, Karlie passed away in her sleep when she was still living at home with her stepmother.

Lindsay cried as she told Dr. Phil that she believes her daughter died of a heroin overdose. “I believe my daughter had an overdose.” And I take her word for it because she was yelling and pleading for assistance… And I believe that Melissa saw her with her eyes open very early in the morning, and I believe that is when my daughter went away.”

The Gusé parents are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the passing of their daughter, Karlie. According to the accounts, Karlie was shot in the face as she walked back to her house after eating ice cream with her pals.

According to Stories of the Unsolved, her behavior after Gusé picked her up that night was quite out of the ordinary; she became worried that someone would kill her or that she would die. It has been brought to the attention of the principal of Bishop Union High School in Gaffney, South Carolina that a photograph of Karlie has been shared on several social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.

He feels that people’s subconscious minds have accepted “the notion that we’ll probably never see Karlie again” because several scans revealed no leads and a significant amount of time has passed since the disappearance of Karlie.

Karlie’s disappearance is still being investigated, although no one has been arrested or cited as a suspect in connection with it.
