Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have prepared a special birthday present for their admirers.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex published a portrait of their youngest family member, Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, only two days after she turned one.
Lili is seen smiling for the camera in the yard of her family’s home in England in the new photo. The birthday girl wore an ocean blue frock with a white lace bow in her red hair for the impromptu shoot.
Misan Harriman, the photographer who captured the image of Archie Harrison’s baby sister, has posted fresh photos to his social media accounts.
On June 6, he said on Instagram, “It was such a privilege to celebrate Lilibet’s 1st birthday with my family and hers!” “There was a lot of joy and face painting going on.”
According to a family spokeswoman, Prince Harry and Meghan gathered close friends and family for a relaxed, intimate backyard lunch at Frogmore Cottage in England to celebrate Lili’s first year around the sun. Claire Ptak of Violet Bakery in East London prepared a bespoke dessert for Lilibet.
Fans and admirers from all around the world donated to the World Central Kitchen in Lilibet’s honor, which meant a lot to her parents. The nonprofit, which continues to serve meals in response to humanitarian, climatic, and community crises, has raised more than $100,000.
Several members of the royal family flocked to social media on June 4 to wish Lili a happy first birthday, despite the fact that Queen Elizabeth II was celebrating her Platinum Jubilee.
Prince William and Kate Middleton were among those present to commemorate Lili’s significant achievement. “Wishing a very happy birthday to Lilibet, turning one today!” tweeted the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who have three children of their own.
On Twitter, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, wished Lilibet a happy one birthday, writing, “Wishing Lilibet a very happy 1st birthday today!”
Since her birth, Prince Harry and Megan have only revealed one photo of their baby. Lili, her parents, and her older brother, Archie, 3, were all included on the family’s holiday card for 2021.
As we previously stated, this is a gift!
