Clearwater Valley Weekend is highlighted with Stites Days and Kamiah Fly-In.

Stites, a town undergoing a revival, kicks off its festivities with free hot dogs and a paint sale at Stites Hardware on July 11th at 11 a.m. The theme, "Reuniting the Past-Shaping the Future," reflects the town's recent civic improvements and business investments.

Friday, July 12th features a car show at 4 p.m. and walking tacos for $5 at 5:30 p.m. Activities include horseshoe singles and Bingo in the park, showcasing local talent and camaraderie.

The weekend continues with breakfast burritos by Clearwater Valley Class of 2025 at 8 a.m., followed by horseshoe doubles and the much-anticipated parade at 10:30 a.m. Kids can enjoy games, an egg toss, and a BBQ lunch, with additional attractions like a cornhole tournament and raft race throughout the day.

A unique highlight, the Clearwater Valley Grass Assassins riding lawn mower races, offer thrills with time trials starting at 5 p.m. and races at 6 p.m., promising entertainment for all ages. 

Concurrently, Kamiah hosts the annual Kamiah Fly-In at Kamiah Airport on July 12th, organized by the Clearwater Valley Aero Club. The event runs from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and offers free introductory flights for children aged 8-17, fostering interest in aviation among young enthusiasts.

The Fly-In provides a unique opportunity for children to experience flight firsthand, potentially inspiring future pilots. Breakfast and lunch options are available, making it a full-day event for families to enjoy.

Vendor spaces are open at the Kamiah Fly-In, offering local businesses and artisans a chance to showcase their products amidst the aviation excitement.
