Google has stated that some features that were previously limited to the Pixel 7 features older Pixel phones series will be coming to older versions. PhoneArena claims that the Pixel 6 series from the previous year will be the first to receive these newly added features.
According to the firm, the next feature drop, which is expected to take place in December, will bring the Clear Calling functionality to all Pixel models that are equipped with a Tensor chip. This includes the Pixel 7 features older Pixel phones and Pixel 6 lines. During phone calls, the option will decrease any background noises that may be present.
The same feature drop will also include a new Assistant function that will allow users of the Pixel 7 features older Pixel phones and Pixel 6 to silence incoming calls using voice commands. This feature will be included in the feature drop.

This feature was discovered in the past during the disassembly of the Google app, and it will be available with other short phrases like “stop,” “snooze,” “respond,” and “decline” that are already supported by the Pixel 6 series.
Aside from that, the Guided Frame feature that was introduced with the Pixel 7 features older Pixel phones will be rolled out to all Tensor-powered Pixels. The accessibility feature enables users with vision impairments to take selfies with the help of audio instructions that position the phone and construct the appropriate frame for the photo.
The enhancements to Real Tone that were produced for the new Pixel phones are going to be made available for the models from the previous year as well. These enhancements will be combined with Night Sight and Portrait modes.
In other news, the future feature drop will bring support for Spatial Audio to the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, which was previously only available for the Pixel Buds Pro. This function produces a three-dimensional surround sound effect, which makes for a more enjoyable listening experience.
There are also rumors that the At a Glance widget will soon reveal fresh information on all Pixel models and that the Voice Message Transcription feature will soon be available on all Pixel devices beginning with the Pixel 4a.
