Tragically, three children in Bahawalpur and two in Rawalpindi succumbed to pneumonia. Additionally, one child in Faisalabad, Gujranwala, and Sheikhupura lost their lives to the illness.

Disturbingly, the overall toll in Punjab reached 296 children who succumbed to pneumonia last month.

Medical experts have emphasized the importance of shielding children from the cold and advocating for vaccinations to combat pneumonia. It’s a somber reminder of the critical need for preventive measures and healthcare awareness.
