On Thursday, TMZ released Bryan’s mug shot along with news that he was arrested in Vinita, Oklahoma, facing charges of “obstructing an investigation.” Fortunately, his stay behind bars was short as he was released on bail later that day.

“Today I had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line in the things I said. I support law enforcement as much as anyone can; I was frustrated at the time. He was unlike me and I’m sorry. They brought me to jail and there’s a mug shot floating around me. Prayers, we can all move on from this, and prayers, people know I’m just trying the best I can. you, and I’m truly sorry for the officers.”

Bryan’s loyalty to the NFL was well known and he made it known during a concert at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York in June. In an unexpected turn of events, New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones joined Bryan on stage to sing one of his songs. Bryan, however, couldn’t resist taking a playful jab at the quarterback, grabbing the microphone and yelling, “Go Birds!” to the delight of his eagle-loving audience.
